"Any demand or question or a manner of work that conforms with
the objective of the inspectors who want to verify that Iraq is free
of weapons of mass destruction will be met with full
cooperation," Ramadan said in an interview from Baghdad with
the private Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation.
"But for demands which are clearly (meant) for intelligence or
for other objectives that have nothing to do with the weapons of
mass destruction, we will act in such a way so as to safeguard the
country's sovereignty and security," he said.

Search procedures will be stricter, Iraq will be held in material
breach of U.N. disarmament demands and the threat of consequences
for defiance all will be retained, he said of diplomatic language
that could trigger military action.
If the resolution is adopted Friday, Iraq would have until Nov. 15
to accept its terms and pledge to cooperate.
Iraq then would be required to list all parts of its chemical,
biological and nascent nuclear weapons program by Dec. 8, and
weapons inspectors would have until Dec. 23 to resume their search
after Saddam blocked their access to suspect sites four years ago.
The inspectors would report to the Security Council by Feb. 21.
