 Services: We offer the full range of classroom software, laser printing, fast T1 Internet access, scanner, server-based file storage, and cheerful trained assistance.

What's in the Computer Lab:

Hardware:

• 30 PC's with Windows and software, with a network file server and broadband Internet access.

Printers: All Windows computers print through the network to fast Laser Printers:

• Black & White -- HP LaserJet 4240 N network laser printer
• Color -- HP Color LaserJet 4600 N network laser printer
• Student Free Print Allowance information

Special Attractions :

• Color Platform Scanner: (Epson Perfection 636U)
• Students can save their files in a folder of their own on our network server.
• As a portability option available for students who create files too large to fit on a floppy, we can burn you a CD with your files.
• Direct, Fast Internet access

 Software:

• The Windows computers have a "standard" load of:
  • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher
  • Internet Explorer
• Various other course-related software is installed on limited numbers of Windows computers (according to our license limits), such as PaintShop Pro, SPSS, Adobe Acrobat, MATLAB, etc.

Other Resources:

• Teachers submit files for the use of their students, and we make them accessible on our network server, arranged in folders by course number
• We maintain a website with selected/collected Internet links (and submitted files) chosen for their usefulness in connection with Schreiner courses, arranged by courses.
