- To get access to Schreiner's wireless
network, come to Dickey Hall 112 computer lab
between 8:00 and 4:00 any weekday. You can
e-mail me at scrate@schreiner.edu, or phone 792-7261 (same as
on-campus extension x7261). [Here is
detailed information
about what must be done on your computer to be
allowed on our network. Network security
preparations are required, etc.]
- Move-In Weekend: Dickey Hall 112 will be
open Saturday Aug 22 '09 from 10:00 am till 5:00 pm
to set up Wifi access for new students. If you have
a laptop with built-in WiFi,
download this form, fill it in, and bring it
with you. Also bring your laptop.

or to get help with your own computer,
contact the help desk at 792-7344 (same as on-campus
extension x7344) or e-mail

- All residence halls
and most academic locations on campus have wireless network access. [Here's
a map
of wireless access]
- Wireless access requires that a wireless network card be installed
in your computer.
- Schreiner provides wireless cards, available
in the Computer Lab, Dickey 112
- Or you may use your own, which you must register
in the Computer Lab.
- Network security preparations are required on your computer
before you can gain access.
- Installation of wireless internet
access by any ISP, person or private provider is strictly forbidden.
